Skills to practise

  • Calm communication and service judgment
  • Organisation and team leadership
  • Timely problem solving

Examples of learning routes

The study routes are examples, not admission requirements or a job guarantee. Check school-subject prerequisites, teaching language and recognition of the qualification in your intended work country. For regulated professions, verify training, registration and licensing with the relevant local authority before choosing a programme; university admission does not automatically establish eligibility to practise.

  • Hospitality, hotel management, business or a related programme
  • Progressive operational experience and training relevant to actual responsibilities

Try a small task

Design a fictional guest journey for an Oman guesthouse from booking to departure; identify possible confusion and explain a solution in Arabic and English.

Before deciding

Work may include evenings and weekends. Management responsibility usually develops with experience rather than following automatically from graduation.
