Four stages, with room to change direction
Age helps organise activities; it does not define attainment or success. You may be in foundation study, changing subject or starting again. Choose your actual situation in the profile tool and use the age guide as an adaptable suggestion.
- 13–15: try different fields and record what you learn.
- 16–18: connect subjects to programme requirements, funding and dates.
- 19–22: build projects and experience with suitable supervision.
- 23–26: target realistic roles and improve your portfolio through feedback.
Start with your governorate, then widen your options
Compare campus access, housing, transport and family support alongside programme content. Explore employers in energy, logistics, technology, finance, tourism and industry, then connect those skills to a project you can do now.
A monthly review with family or a mentor
Choose one piece of completed evidence, one question needing an official answer and one next-month action. Discuss time, cost and travel. Coordinate activities outside school with the school and a parent; do not publish your address or document numbers in a public portfolio.
