Build a table of three actual options

For each option record the institution, campus, programme code, guide year and required subjects. Check whether entry is to a college or a final major and when allocation happens. Do not apply one programme’s condition to every course at the institution.

Name the qualification and applicant route precisely

The Oman General Education Diploma differs from the US GED® test. IB, A Levels, CBSE and the American diploma also have distinct requirements. Omani and non-Omani applicants have specified routes and conditions; attending an Omani school does not determine the category alone.

Track each application action

Use the official source to list required documents and identify items awaiting final results or equivalency. Separate registration, preference changes, allocation, offer acceptance and university enrolment. Save each confirmation and verify dates in the portal.

  • Choose a main plan and a subject- and budget-appropriate alternative.
  • Check foundation, travel and housing costs even when tuition is funded.
  • Discuss the offer with family and a counsellor before paying or declining another option.
