Skills to practise

  • Subject knowledge and clear explanation
  • Organising learning
  • Patience and attention to different needs

Examples of learning routes

The study routes are examples, not admission requirements or a job guarantee. Check school-subject prerequisites, teaching language and recognition of the qualification in your intended work country. For regulated professions, verify training, registration and licensing with the relevant local authority before choosing a programme; university admission does not automatically establish eligibility to practise.

  • An appropriate subject or phase qualification with recognised teacher preparation
  • Supervised teaching practice and local licensing or recognition where required

Try a small task

Explain a school concept to a classmate in Arabic or English in ten minutes, use a practical question to check understanding, then adjust your explanation.

Before deciding

Work includes preparation and follow-up beyond lesson time. School and curriculum requirements differ, so check whether a qualification fits the system you want to teach in.
